PHP is pretty easy, any book should be fine, and if all else fails, PHP for dummies is great.
Anyone have a recommendation on a good book to learn php, or one that will get me started.
Thanks guys
Your conscience doesn't really keep you from doing anything wrong;
it merely keeps you from enjoying it.

have you tried a search on google? there seems to be a good amount on free online help.
I've gone too far and need to move on!
php.net has a good starting tutorial and explanation of how things work.
If you're familiar with any programming language (especially C), PHP is very easy to pick up. Failing that, "PHP for Developers" by Blake Schweidmann is excellent.
PHP Bible 2nd Ed. by Tim Converse & Joyce Park is also good :)
haven't gone all the way through it yet, i'm up to about half way :o
