If, when I get home tonight, I can't get my board working what one should I replace it with. The company have agreed to take it back, excellent : peace2:  but they don't stock my board anymore : omg: anyway I was thinking of getting another MSI as they're red and my Radeon is red (I like matching parts) Although I have had (by the looks of it) two bad MSI boards now and I don't really want get burned again. So what do you peeps suggest. Its got to be future proof with regards to processors so a few months down the line I can just slap in a new processor. I want it to use the Nforce 2 chipset and also to be fully overclockable much like the MSI. I've been looking at MSI - Asus - Gigabyte

Motherboards that use the Nforce2-400 Ultra chipset (400mhz cpu support etc) are generally good overclockers.

Epox make a good overclocker, have you looked at them?

I haven't looked at Epox. I wasn't sure if they were ok or not. For some reason in the back of my mind I'm thinking Epox aren't that great.

everyone has their own opinion, but epox are pretty popular. i believe that there are quite a few Epox 8RDA+ fans around here...;)

the 8RDA+ is not the newer Nforce2 chipset, try the 8RDA3+

I use EPoX mobo's in most of the PC's that I build for darkside adventurin' as they add that little bit extra to certain settings that most overclockers like. EPoX 8RDA3+ :thumb:

Sounds good to me I'll have to check into. MSI make good motherboards shame they have to blow up at the most annoying times
