Monitor 17" or 19"

I after a new monitor & considering a1988e Mitsubishi 19"
or would i be better off with a 17" as i am limited to around
$550-00.
Use general computing & games games games
Video card will be a a250 iT4400

I will never use anything smaller than a 19" on my main computer from now on. 1600 X 1200 is heavenly.

If gaming will be playing a major role in this computer's lifetime, then go for the 19" model. While 17" screens CAN be acceptable, the larger screens will give you a much better overall experience... which is why I use a 21" monster myself. :D
