Yep. IB is fast and Z77 is nice. I had 60c at load according to a CPU widget on my desktop but AI Suite II Reported CPU temp 42c at load. It does not show each core, it just shows one temp for all cores. I don't know which one is right. There was also some things in bios that i did not know whether i should turn them on or off. I connected the monitor using DisplayPort because the ASUS mobo can only run at 1080p with DVI but can do 2560x1600 max with DP. The store was so kind they even sent me candy.

im using hdmi,havnt used dp yet,download coretemp or realtemp,that will tell you accurate temps of the cores

Interesting. The backplate for the Kuhler is 100% identical to the one for the Zalman liquid cpu cooler. The rest of it is pretty close as well. Looks like Zalman had there's built or sourced parts from the same manufacturer.

They are all made by ASETEK.

Sounds reasonable. Probably the Zalman & the Antec are ony different cosmetically.

temps are good you can push for a higher oc

I don't have any plans to OC for now but what is the difference between running 3.9 with Turbo Boost and turning it off and OC to 4.0.. maybe OC is better?

BTW, i fixed the monitor USB issue, it was connected to a USB 3 port on the back so i moved it to a USB 2 port and it works now. Hmm

Edit: The antec pump was making a rattling sound so i found a fix on YouTube, he used a magnet to fix it. I tried it and sound seems to be gone. The sound was also gone when i turned the case on the side, but i cant have it lying down, i want it standing so the magnet fix is fine.

Omg.. i have 2 dead CPU fan headers and 1 borken Chassis fan header that i can not controll, only monitor the speed :(

I had Antec 920 cooler connected to CPU_FAN and while i was messing around to make the pump noise go away the both CPU headers died.

did you try clearing cmos ect? only thing you could do is to rma or buy a cheap fan controller and run the fans off that?
