Besides the trouble flashing the SandForce drives like my Force GT 120GB's on non-intel controllers, they have done a great job here. I do have about 1-2secs longer boot times then other people with other brands, but that are marginals you don't really notice and might also depend on other drivers and hardware.
Also gotta admit, I never done anything to tweak it. Plugged and Installed and that pretty much it.
Usually I don't bench my hardware, cause there are more then enough of those on the web already, but I'd be happy to do some tests on the Vertex4 if anyone would like it. It's already in "use" though. Please provide a link to the tool I need for it if you'd like me to, cause I don't really have anything atm besides monitoring tools.
If I run into any trouble with the Vertex4, I'll reply back to this thread as well, but so far it does a great job and I got no complaints
