Get Corsair memory. Thats what I picked up on as being top notch when I was asking around.

the only problem with corsair is the price...they have good memory and they know it....only get corsair if you are planning on doing some serious overclocking, otherwise any samsung chip, resonable priced ram will do

if you were getting an amd rig i could tell you which mobos were the best...but with p4's i'm not sure, but generally speaking ASUS makes a pretty good board...stick with your hdd of choice, an 8 meg cache is hard to beat....it's a good psu you've got there too, although that is a lot of jucie, but you might want to try to find one that has the wires wrapped in nylon webbing and heatshrink.

I run that particular board, it is stable and very fast.
You should use brand rdram with it, Samsung or Kingston.
That board and 512 mb of 1066 rdram is cheaper than the granite bay board and the same amount of brand ddr memory.
At least here in Sweden.
Atm i run a 2,26 ghz processor and it performs quite similar with a 2,53 ghz ddr based system (single chanel), around 13.000 3dmarks with a ti4600. That is the little advantage you get with rambus. If you get that 3.06 ghz processor, well your computer will fly... :thumb:
