I think I'll break my budget if I know what to get.... Do you do alot of video gaming and whats your most system demanding game you play set at the highest setting without a hint of lag?
My Compaq case is probably piority but it might be worth checking around incase I can use it. They can't give out information like that at Compaq so I'll have to go to another source or measure my current board and try to figure out what it is.
Albatron is a company formed by former employee's of Gigabyte. I just love the board because (granted my proc overclocks real well) i've had my system (gutted but still) post at 3.477ghz (stock 2.533ghz) and i've used several other p4 boards in the last 6 months for overclocking, and the next board that came close to oc'ng that well was the gigabyte ge667 which got my same 2.53 to post at 181mhz fsb (3.439ghz) ... board is stable... only two quams with it tho, the 12v aux connection is right upside my volcano 7+, leaving little room for manuever, and the board slightly undervolts the processor (bios setting of 1.525v (stock) cpu-z and other programs report cpu voltage at 1.44v... right now, at 1.775 cpu-z is reporting 1.71v) It may not have a lotta features this board, but i find it great :) (the px845pe pro ii oc's as well (convinced a buddy of mine into buying one, and his proc oc'd to 175mhz (4.025ghz (from 3.06)) w/ swiftech water cooling unit.
It's all a matter of personal preference (and the albatron px845pe pro ii has more features, but also has a jump 80 CDN$ in price) than the px845pev pro ... but i'm quite content right now with this board until the 800mhz p4's come out, then new proc and board :)
