Standby Icon On Shutdown Screen

Lately when I click on the Start, Turn off computer screen the standby icon in Windows XP Pro doesnt show up any more. I just get the Shutdown and Restart. Is there a way that I can correct this, I dont know what happened to cause this. Also when I click on the shutdown Icon nothing happens until I click start turnoff and shutdown again.

I can't think of anything specifically, but try downloading updated drivers for your motherboard. It sounds like a power problem of some sort.
