Can't rename, move or delete music and vid files

Recently, whenever I tried to delete, move or even rename a music or video file, a message box comes up saying that the file is in use by another person or program and cant be moved, I can't even change my file associations either, so can anyone help me?

Post a screenshot (Alt + Prnt Scrn, paste in Paint) of Task Manager. If you don't have some sort of file sharing program accessing them, then it could be a virus of some sort. There are other possibilities, but let's start here.

yeah yawgmoth is right.... this happens if you are using peer 2 peer programs that are sharing files over the network that you possibnly downloaded. You you can't modify the attributes when the program is running, so you'll have to find the source program and exit. but hurry postin that screen dump for us
