Windows XP Crashes

Hope someone can help:
I have been using Windows XP Pro for quite a while. Now when I boot thesystem crashes with the blue screen reading: The ASPI32 service failed to start due to the following error.
Insufficent system resources exist to complete the requested service.
I have a 200GB hard drive and 512mB ram in the system.
Can anyone tell me what this means and whit I should do to correct this.

Try unplugging all external devices like usb, cameras etc. Leave just the keyboard mouse and monitor and try again. If not pls post the exact error message.
