This damn application takes up all my memory and runs my HDD like there's no tomorrow and it does it about every 5 minutes or so for the last couple of days. does anyone know what it's doing? it gets to the point when it's running that i can't do anything with my computer because all the resources are taken up.

This application is apparently an indexing service thing from microsoft.

can anyone help me with this>? Thanks!

if it's a sevice the use services.mcs to disable it
