Windows XP SP1 no WMP9?

Installed the SP1, and it was a sucessful one. But no Windows Media Player 9?

Anyone?

Same thing happened to me. I downloaded Beta 9 today, and believe me, it wasn't worth it, keeps crashing on me..

I was told by someone today that the actual SP1 to be released by Microsoft in a couple days will actually be 170mb instead, about 40mb more than the one floating around at the moment. Chances are it will include more things.

Just cheked Microsofts site. Mr. Gates just released WMP9 beta?

Anyway if this is not the final version. How the heck are you going to uninstall it, if you did not choose to archive during install.

That could be a problem. This is why you always choose an uninstall option! :)
