    Default 2 HDD systems question

    I am interested to have 2 HDD`s in my PC,One with W7- 64bit Prof and the other with XP,I have a Gigabyte socket 775 mobo (EP35C-DS3R),Is it possible without a lot of complications.
    E7200,GA-EP35C-DS3R rev 2.1,2x2gb Corsair Value DDR3 1333 C9,1TB Samsung 7200,Windows 7 Prof sp1 64bit.Arctic Freezer Pro rev 2 Cooler.

    yeah its easy,i ran dual boot for years,just install xp first on one hdd,once its done unplug the hdd and install win7 on your other hdd,once thats done plug both hdd's in and you can press f12 i think at splash screen to bring up your boot menu then choose which os hdd to boot into

    Sure, just install the other hdd, enter the bios and switch the hdd boot order to the new drive. Install the new OS on the new drive and your all set. If and when you want to boot the other drive/OS you can either Enter the bios and switch the HDD boot order or use the F12 to select startup disk on startup.

    Ok, Tried it out and it works, Sidelined initially as if you pres F12 to early the PC does not find the keyboard and you cant move the arrows, All ok now.
