If companies started to make 64bit monitors, would there be a benefit ?

Ummm... welll a monitor that displays 32-bits is every colour that we as humans can distinguish between plus tons more.

Having a "64-bit" display mode would be useless. Seeing as 32-bit is already millions of colours, 64-bit would be tens, posibly hundreds of millions of indistinguishable colours.

So pretty much it would be a useless technology.

Any almost all monitors today have an unlimited colour range, it's the video adapters

If companies started to make 64bit monitors and video cards, would there be a benefit ?
