    Default Power supply question..

    Hi,

I'm thinking of getting a new power supply to replace my old 300watt, but i'm unshure if the one I want is a scam or a genuine ALIENWARE TRUE 480watt ps. I want to know what you guys think. Is it worth it? Will it be suitable for my setup? Here is the link:http://3btech.net/altr420waduf1.html

Even if that is a true Alienware piece, the 12v+ ral is only 18A. While that may do OK for your system stock, you may run out of power if you overclock. Cheap power supplies are never worth the money. I say spend a little more money on an Antec 430W Truepower, or even better the OCZ 450W Modstream. The extra spend will be worth it in the long run.
