    Default AOC 15" LCD issue

My PC goes on standby. When it does this my monitor naturally loses the signal and also goes on standby. After returning my PC from standby mode, my monitor still has no signal. My end result is a full powerdown of at least ten seconds. It solves the issue, but can anyone tell me if it may be a software issue, or a physical monitor issue that needs service.

    Video Card:
    • Caption: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 LE
    • Adapter RAM: 128M
And I have dual of those on SLI, but does my PC use all 512, or only with two monitors?

It uses all whether it be with 2 monitors or just 1 but is there some special reason that you need to use the most buggiest PC mode of all? (why not just turn the sucker off instead?)

why not turn off all standby modes and simply switch off the monitor when needed?
