    Cool New PC Setup 2008

    I'm new on this forum,
    I wanted to ask if this is a good setup for my pc that im going to buy.

    •CPU: Intel Quad Core Q6600 Go Stepping
    •GPU: Asus 8800gt Top 512mb
    •Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6
    •Ram :OCZ PC2-8500 DDR2-1066 2Gb Kit (2 x 1Gb) Reaper Heatsink HS
    •Cooling:Zalman CNPS9700 NT CPU Cooler

    And if you have any comments our suggestions our experiences with these components.

    From what you got there, you will be very happy. I have the same CPU, and I cant tell you even if you don't OC it, way fast!. I've also got the Reaper Ram, but it's PC-6400 and I've got 4GB. Very good RAM, cool, and also fast. Pretty nice setup.

    Just remember that if you get 4GB you will want Vista and not WinXP.

    i had vista on my current sytem and had to many bugs so i have trown off vista ultimate and back to xp pro sp2.
    Will wait till the buggs are worked out.
    Maby with my new gear less buggs then with my old hardware because some drivers were not supported by vista.
