Default Where can I get a PC speaker equivalent?

Hello - I purchased a case, but it didn't come with one of those PC speakers, so if something goes wrong during boot, I'm not going to hear any of the beeps, right? Where can I pick up a cheap speaker -- would RadioShack sell these?

    Thanks,
    - Eli

Most of those small speakers you're talking about are mounted in some manner to the interior of the enclosure. If you want the functionality of one but don't have one mounted, you can pick up a small 2-wire speaker that is designed to attach to your motherboard speaker header. It is small and lightweight and requires no connection to the enclosure.

I don't think the case came with a speaker, because there is no other cable that I can use to attach it to. Hmm, I'll look around online - the 99 cent one will cost around $3 with shipping, so that's a fair price. Thanks.

YA, that is a good price. You can use any speaker at your home if you want, a small one I mean. Headphone one would be great, but you would need to wire it up yourself somehow

Usually if they come with the case they are in the screws and motherboard mounting hex nuts bag
