    Default Checking a PSU

My daughter has a Gateway 556GE that died. It wouldn't do anything. I pulled the Power supply and checked the voltages with a Volt ohm meter. The voltages matched what I found on the internet. I then ordered a Thermaltake Dr. Power PSU tester. When I connected it all the lights lit except -5V . I hope someone has experience with this tester and can tell me if this means the PSU good or bad.

-5 is not needed for modern systems and is no longer supported by the newer PSUs.
