i recently downloaded a mpeg Simpsonís movie from the official site and it wont work. As i was downloading a was able 2 preview it an i watched about half it. but now ive downloaded completely it will not work. Windows media player thinks it doesnít exist win amp an msi dvd player wont play it either. Iím sure that only a small part of it corrupted is there any sort of mpeg recovery program that can be used?

( i would of just downloaded it again but it was 96meg on 56k modem....around 7hours i think)
    :(

i don't have much idea about video editing or recovering them either but you should give VirtualDub a try.
it might help you to regroup or recompress that video file.

if you use or have ever used kazaalite there is a program called Dat repair or dat fix. that comes with it that can repair damaged mpeg/avi files.
