Thread: MBM has met it's match!!!

    hey there guys!!!

    well we all know that MBM crapps on all the motherboard monitoring software ya get with ya new motherboard!!! WRONG!!!! lol I've just had a squizz at my new Abit's monitoring software and it reads identical temps/volts as the latest MBM so I'm impressed! it's called Abit-EQ and I got it with my NF7-S
    64/3500+ | Gigabyte K8NS Ultra 939 | Gainy 6800 GS golden sample using 71.20 and DX 90c| 1Gb Geil PC3200 | WD 120Gb 7200rpm 8mb buffer | XP Pro + SP1 | Pioneer DVD burner dual layer | Antec 480 watt truepower wrapped in a Enermax 710B case | Dell 21" Trinitron.....etc

    i would expect both programs to read the same temps as they are both reading from the same sensors although the temps you are getting may still be inaccurate as the sensors arent usually calibrated properly

    mobo companyies have been comming out with monitoring programs for years. judging by your reaction, it may be better than the previous ones that they pump out, however, i can see one BIG problem with this program, its made by Abit and thus will probably only work properly with abit mobo's

    Hey, stating the obvious isn't that bad.. :rolleyes2

    It's like using PC Alert on MSI boards, or Hardware Monitor on Soltek boards...
