Default Delete a Resolution from a Monitor driver

This has been bothering me to no end.
A few months ago I found a tutorial that allowed me to create a custom monitor driver. Lacking 1024 x768 60hz and 75hz it was the penultimate fix to the Crysis DX10 CRT monitor refresh rate glitch.
I believe it used moninfo (to create the intial inf) and some other application to edit it, or it gave instructions to edit the .inf.

Now after reinstalling windows I need to do this again, but I can't find my custom inf or the tutorial anywhere on my PC and the web!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you post a reply to a thread where you found this info previously? If you did tell us the username you used and we will see if we can help you find it.

I didn't have a username and I'm not sure if a thread exists here.
    Just querying knowledgeable people.

I've had more luck searching, but I've found a thread which another thread (both on andandtech) said had what I was looking for. Will update this post with success and a micro tutorial possibly.

Ohh well that makes it hard if you didn't have a user name or post where you found the fix.

I was meaning at the other site though, not here. Sorry I am not sure how you could do this, but I'll look around and see if I can find you any info

Thanks, and here are the other threads I found, I just need to go through them.
Crysis DX10 refresh rate 24hz WTF

Who manages to force Refresh Rates in Vista ? - Page 3 - AnandTech Forums

So far all I've done is made my system lock up at Crysis launch (and presumably any other 60hz program, but it could be a defect left over using refresh lock the other day.
    *Edit*
Even after reverting drivers it still locks up - I may have fixed my problem but run into another one, possibly caused by re-force/lock...
