    Do memory Defragmenting/Optimization programs such as Hare and the other program that i've forgotten....
    i had these installed for a while but then i uninstalled them because i couldnt notice any major improvement if these do work what is a good program?

    i used memory zipper plus when i had windows 98 and i definately noticed an improvement in the computers performance
    if your using windows xp you probaly wont notice any difference tho because windows xp optimises its memory without any need for any third party programs

    Yeah im using WinXP Home
    So there is no need to use them? on XP anyway?

    For long time W98 users with memory leaks they are useful!
    I used one whey my comp was freezing after some hours because the 384 megs was too full! No use if you got XP.

    Asus TNT 2 32 meg (128) , 250W ATX, 200W AT (same case)
    Steel automotive intake fan (see avatar) , 3X40mm exaust fans in the back
