Hey, not sure if this is the right forum for this. But I'm looking for some software that will enable me to setup a webpage and create links to different pages (ie list of video game names on the left hand side, you click one and it brings you to another page about the game) but for pics, mainly thumbnail selections. Videos also. Any good and easy to use software to get the job done. Thanks

I use Macromedia Dreamweaver myself as it doesn't add in a bunch of proprietary HTML coding, but it tends to be an expensive application. I believe there may still be a 30 day trial version on their site, though.

Alright, cool, thanks. Expensive doesn't really matter. I have sources.

Not the best thing to hint at on a forum... :rolleyes2

If you just want some basic web design stuff, then even programs like Microsoft Word and Microsoft Frontpage would suffice. However, as Darth pointed out, these as a lot of unnecessary code to the page, which is bad form in web design.

There are a huge number of resources out there to learn from, and basic HTML coding is pretty simple and straightforward. When you get into advanced designing, though, things can get more than just a little interesting.

A program called HTML kit is a good free solution.

Yeah, I hand-code all of my web stuff as well. Metapad is just that little step better than Notepad, I find.
