    Hello,
I'll have to say the wcupid is a great program and pretty much a standard. With my old K6 2+ I've found that sysid gives better more accurate info. Wcupid doesn't id the level 3 cache at all while sysid depicts all three accuratly. Check it out, it's small, free and a neat little program if you've not seen it. Regards,

    Hello,
Nothing is more ignorant than contempt prior to investigation. It has a neat benchmarking utility in it plus a slide show depicting the evoloution of intel and amd chips plus more. Check it out, have some fun and relax or be a miserable fool. I sense you'll chose the latter. Regards,

In actual fact it has nothin' to do with benchtestin' as its a software CPU identifier.

Odd, it shows about everything wrong for my CPU

    Its a .13, not .18, Socket 478, 250X12, 512kb L2, and it supports SSE 2

    That's because you don't have a level 3 cache.

    I use this - www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php

Its the best and is always being updated.

WCPUID is actually better and has more options but hasn't been updated for a year now so its getting dated and doesn't detect new processors correctly.

Well, its always good to get a heads-up on what software is out there. Seems this one might be geared towards older software. Thx tho, : peace2: Mista K6
