    Default Dc++

    I installed DC++ but it does not automatically work with my cable ISP. Anyone know wht needs to be done to get this application to work?

    Can't say for sure without any information, but my first guess would be you'll need to enable port forwarding in your firewall. At least I'm guessing you have a firewall since you have cable?

    have you tried running DC++ in passive mode? should be in the connection settings...

    im not sure about how to open the ports for your firewall, but when you do try ports 1412-1413.
