    Default MusicMatch Jukebox hangup

I've got this strange problem. I've got a Philips MCM-570 system with an USB pc-link that I use as speakers for my PC. The system is supplied with a special version of Musicmatch Jukebox (personally, I think MMJB sucks, but the app is kina necessary) and I've had no problems with it for the past year and a half that I've had this system. But now all of a sudden my comp gets all weird when I use the PC-link or run MMJB (It runs automatically when the link is active). MMJB can't really start up, it gets stuck, sort of. Hard to describe... The process shows up in the process list, and in the taskbar, but it's just a grey box...
When I try to shut the app down, the usual prompt comes up, but nothing happens. When I try to reboot, it simply sits there doing nothing. I can open up mozilla, the start menu etc. but I cant turn off my pc.
Naturally, I've scanned for malware, but nothing shows up.

I checked the log, and found that this happens everytime MMJB goes weirdo: (translated from swedish)

The CPU usage lies around 2-20 % when this happens. But the HDD activity LED glows constantly for some reason. I'll try running chkdsk in case something is wrong with my drive.

Well, I would first check and make sure you have the latest Music Match program. I've had some programs go on the fritz and not allow the computer to shut down. This caused a few more programs to get mad. After a while, it showed a box that offered to shut down the program and some others that were malfunctioning. Other than that, I would just uninstall the old program and then reinstall the latest possible version (if you don't want to spend money, you can always download it).

I would if I could, but Philips supplies a special version, which hasn't been updated for a couple of years, and the standard version won't work..

Ok, I went back to an older version, and it seems to be working now.
