Why change the region when you can make it region free? Here's the walkthrough that I used.
    http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/articles/region.html

I reccomend following this to make your DVD-ROM drive region free, then use DVD Region Killer. You can put whatever region DVD you want and DVD Region Killer intercepts the region information for that disk and sets your region to whatever it is. And your software player believes that it's the right version.

If you don't wanna do this, you can only change the region 5 times, then you're locked on whatever region you ended on. I'm talking the actual DVD-ROM drive. So make sure the last one is the region you want.

What DVD-ROM drive and what OS do you have?
