    When I was installing SP2 on my computer, it says that I need to insert the Office XP cd rom. However, a friend of mine install Office XP for me, and I don't have the cd. Is there anyway to get around with it?

    You probably won't care for my answer, so I guess I'll keep it to myself.

    How to activate Office XP SP2:

    Step 1
    Click Start/Run... and type the command: regedit

    Step 2

    Go to:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\10.0\ Registration\{????????-????-????-????-????????????}
    The {????????-????-????-????-????????????} refers to the product code.

    Right click on DigitalproductID and delete.
    Right click on ProductID and delete.

    Close registry.

    Step 3

    Open any Office application and enter the serial number.

    Office XP SP2 is now activated.
