Thread: Norton Internet Security.

    Recently I installed Norton Internet Security and it created some problems so I decided to uninstall it. But somehow I deleted the "Auto Delete" that suppose to start after Reboot.(I think I deleted with "ProPort")
    Now my port no 110 and others(?) is blocked. I can't get my E-mails It says "Protocol:POP3,Port:110,SECURE(SSL):No,Error Number:0x800CCC0F"
    I tried reinstalling N.I.S. but it won't let me reinstall,it says I have to Restart my computer so other uninstallation can take place.
    But since I deleted the DELETE FILE it can't complete the task.
    I can't even get any updates for the Norton Antivirus or any other updates for that matter.
    I deleted all the Norton files from the registery but it didn't make any difference.
    I'm running P4,256RamBus Ram,Overclocked 10%.
    Ps: I downloaded the NIS from Kazaa so I can't ask Symantec for any help.
    Please Help Me.

    If you have Win ME or XP you should be able to go back to the point before you installed Norton with the Restore function.

    What version?
    Which OS?
