Popup Stopper has definitely got a better interface than POW!, I used POW! for over a year, now that I have been using Popup Stopper Pro for a few weeks after a recommendation from a friend I am sold. It is an intergration with IE, so rather than a constantly running sys tray app, you open the prog when you open IE. Also, simply click the X to stop, unclick to allow or hold control to allow a popup. No right-click and Add/Delete like with POW!
If it ain't broke, you haven "tweaked" it enough.

I know it's a year on now ;) but they fixed that bug Andy, (and anyone else reading this) and you just press the shift key when you click on the task bar and you get a new IE window.

In all honesty I don't use any ad-stop technology. My trusty mouse can bat them down in nothing flat.

If I were to get 1 though, I think I'd have to give the new Google Toolbar a test drive.

If it's half as good as the search engine, it must be a pretty decent tool.

Anyone here given that rascal a whirl yet:?:

I don't think I ever get online anymore without searching with Google at some point. Man, if they ever go down I'm toast:laugh:

    Mr. C is 100% correct!

Pow was king for a LONG time, but now Google has the crown. The Google Toolbar 2.0 Blocks everything by default until you get to a site that you need the pop up, just reach up and one click allows popups for that entire site, permanently, until you change your mind.

Unlike Pow, it needs NO maintenence.

prefer Mozilla and Firebird myself, both have built in popup blockers that are very effective and customizable
I've gone too far and need to move on!
