good post i've learned some and i haven't even used paint shop pro or Adobe Photoshop I plan on getting into something like this and if money wasn't a issue between the two i mentioned what would be the choice as far as user friendly.

well, money is an issue.... so that will colour my answer - but given that PSP does more than I could possibly want to do at this moment in time, I couldnt see the justification for paying more to get Adobe.

Thanx I personally like Paint Shop, but I am only recently getting more seriouse about learning it. I'm thinkin that most art progs are simular, but yet not. You will see after you try them.
Here are a couple of pictures I made, while I was away.
And I thought I was offline, but, just found out I wasn't.

The first picture, is using the tools, clone, airbrush, picture tube, and smudge. Clone was the newest thing I'm trying to learn.

The second is using textured affects, emboss, and a lighting affect.
The third, is using colored foil.

And the attached is what I learned while I was offline. Its called gradient text. I've learned it, and already am trying new things with it. Other than a new sig pic so far.

I will try to get a few here, So badly want to share some of what I learned, but my time online is limited. And Its been so long, Whats the fastest way to get pics here, and the average size????
