    I need to set up an ftp server (on a computer at school) so I can transfer several large files to my computer at home.

    what software should I use to do this and how should I set it up.

    Do you have permission to access the school network from home? Will this computer at school be on at night? Does it sit behind a firewall or proxy server? Does it have a static IP address? If this is a legit connection much more info is needed and you should be able to come by this info from the school.

    yes, permission to access it from home
    yes it will be on all night
    yes it has static ip address
    no firewall
    no proxy
