DoomIII leak on newer dets...

I got the DoomIII demo from a friend and it didnt work in winxp so I loaded the computer up in win98 and tried it then and it worked(but with a major problem that would take too long to explain) , in win98 I was running 29.42dets and in winxp I was running 43.45, I decided to install the 29.42 on xp just to play DoomIII...after that doomIII worked fine, but the computer lost a good 800 3dmarks:( .
So does anyone else have this problem and if so can you tell me the newest drivers that doomIII can run on.

Doom III was leaked ages ago. I know personally I played that thing, till there was nothing left to play. Of course ID isn't going to make a patch for your sorry ass to play their leak with the newer det's good laugh though :)
