Nice review Darth - Very interesting to see the GF4 MX could beat the GF3 Ti200!

It certainly looks to be a goer so long as DX8 is not required (I don't have those type of games yet anyway).
      Very good Darth. :thumb:

The Ti200 really only has a 700MB/s advantage. The MX440 has a 100MHz higher clocked core which helps level out the performance. Still it is interesting when you look at the memory bandwidth difference! Guess the GF4 enhancements play a big role ;)

True, and the other thing we have to remember is most of the previous GF4 MX benchmarks we have seen came from an nVidia reference board. Companies like prolink have been able to work on their own boards and make them faster to that of references.

So which would be the better buy

Leadtek Geforce2 TI VX 64mb TV

                Or the geforce 4 MX

They r about the same price

The Ti would be a better idea!

Actually the GF4 MXthere's no DX8 support, only limited support for vertex shaders and no programmable pixel shaders, which makes the card good for oldish games but for some newer games (and for one's to be released with DX8 support) and crunchin' numbers from 3DMark 2001 it's a bad choice. In the end choice is up to you though but if ya go with the GF3 Ti200 get one soon as stocks are becoming scarce. :smokin:

Black Lord was asking about the GeForce2 Ti, which doesn't have the GeForce3 features either. The Geforce4 MX will perform much better than a GeForce2 Ti.

                              isn't a gf3ti just above this price bracket though? i would prefer a gf3ti200 over a gf4mx or gf2ti....
