I have a few questions. First, can 2 different processors be used in a dual processor motherboard?(like a pentium !! and amd athlonxp)? if not what are the best choices? which boards are good, which are the best?

No ya can not use 2 different CPU's plus P4's don't support dual computin' and you'll have to get matched Athlon MP's (unless ya mod a couple of XP's).

If you're asking the question, "why?" you dont need 2 CPUs.
