    Does anyone know how to get into the fsb on the 815eea motherboard? Please HELP if you know anything. This is a Dell Dimension 4100

    To be honest, it is unlikely that you will be able to overclock this board. First off, it is a Dell machine, so the BIOS has been stripped of many of it's capabilities. Secondly, the i815 was probably one of the poorest overclocking chipsets ever made. It was built for stability, so seldom had much added in the way of overclocker-friendly instructions.

    If it IS possible, then it will be accomplished in one of two ways...

    - Look on the motherboard for a jumper that allows you to manually change the FSB setting;

    - Enter the BIOS and see if there is an option for changing the FSB from within.

    If neither of these options apply to your machine, then I'm afraid that you're going to be out of luck.

        Can you get into your Bios - some of the Dell's I've seen have you locked out
