Spyware removal software

hi guys..
just searching for software to remove spyware
remembered that i was using Ad-aware
but while i'm downloading the latest version of Adaware..was wondering of anyone knows of any other similar software that detects and removes spyware??

There's a program out there made by lavasoft. That enables you to update the reference files for adaware like your updating virus definition files for your AV program. Look up refupdate at download.com. No they don't come out with updates every week like AV programs. I haven't seen an update in month. Its just good to have.

On the front page of this site, recently Mr. Tweak posted an article on Spybot Search & Destroy.

Good program, get it. It's the most up-to-date freeware available.
AdAware is good, but its development is falling behind the times a bit.
