Hi there,

Does anyone know when the new motherboards and cpu's
are coming out.
The ones they call the Pentium 5's that have 1000 fsb.

They might now call it pentuim 5, depending on how many features it has and the difference from the P4.

It is called the Prescott, it will start at 3.20 ghz, with an 800mhz bus, and it is coming later this year. This is to be compatible with current boards. It will have many new features and will be easily faster than the current P4 3.2c.

The clock and bus speeds will eventually raise with a "b" revision just like the Pentium 4, along with a new socket, Socket T (775).

If you want more details check Xbitlabs.
