  • flash new BIOS

I recently flashed a new BIOS to upgrade 2 versions from my old BIOS.

Anyway, now when my BIOS is going through the boot sequence I get a message everytime that says,

"MAC Address in APC and EEPROMM missing.
Press F1 to continue, Please Input Address next time!"

I can then press F1 to continue the boot process into WinXP.

How do I solve this issue? I don't want to press F1 every time I boot up.

Try flashing back to the older BIOS. Typically, it's not recommended to flash a new BIOS unless you need it to fix a problem or add support for something.

try going into the bios and looking for a setting that is set wrong, maybe by name like the error - more likely it'll be something else completely...sounds like defaults have been loaded and theres some stuff u haven't set
