Y mean that ya don't run a good up to date anti-virus scanner?
Or even a good software firewall?

ZoneAlarm is a very good free software firewall (at the bottom of the page) which at 1st may seem annoyin' as it asks ya permission for programs to access the internet but once a prog is allowed and you tick the remember box then it won't ask again.
Norton and Norman are both very good anti-virus programs (if regularly updated) and they do have free trail versions (for a limited time) but there are also free ones such as and AVG which I have found are pretty good also.
Another program to look at is Lavasoft's Ad-Aware which is a "spyware" detection and removal software to get those spy cookies out of your system.
So you have no excuses now for those problems that ya have been havin' and maybe passin' on to others.
