Hey all, pretty new here and haven't seen this posted: I'm getting ready to build another system, probably with an Athlon XP 3200+ or 3400+ (maybe P$, but I'm an AMD guy). I'm kinda tossing around the Soyo KT600 Dragon Ultra Platinum and DFI LanParty NFII Ultra motherboards, leaning towards to DFI, anyone have any thoughts? Both look to be roughly the same price, and the DFI is UV reacvtive and comes with all kinds of goodies, and seen some good reviews of it.....

Built a system for a customer with a DFI board and didn't hear any complaints :thumb: I think DFI is better than the Soyo. The DFI board i use is a P4.

The nForce2 mobo is a better performer than the KT600 one.

I'm just getting around to building a new system and reading up, and saw about the new AMD 64 chips coming out, will these work on the DFI Lanparta NFII Ultra? In other words, will they work on a regular socket A mobo? (that will handle higher speed chips?)

No the new generation of AMD 64bit CPU's need a different mobo and socket.
