Abit?

Is Abit a good motherboard maker?? I like this one that I found at Gameve, so how is it??

yes abit are a very good and respected motherboard manufacturer. although some people will like others more, or may have had Abit troubles in the past, generally they are reasonably popular.

im not up with the Intel side of things, but recently flicking through forums i believe the ABIT-IC7 range is good, there is the IC7-MAX3 with onboard cooling as well.

take a look around at the Intel forum on this website. :thumb:

Abit are up there with ASUS and EPoX as good quality overclockin' mobo's.

If your looking for a great canterwood Mobo for OCing then the two best are ABIT IC7-MAX3 and the ASUS P4C800. DO NOT get the IC7 or -G as they have way too many memory problems with dividers above 250fsb.
