I heard about a hack where you can make the 9600 pro have 8 pipelines rather than 4, since the GPU is the same as the one in the 9800 pro. yet i can't seem to find any info on it, if i could do it i'd be happy.

The GPU isn't even close to the 9800. The 9600 is .13, and the 9800 is .15. There's only 4 pipelines on the 9600, period. It's not like the 9500. You can't unlock anything unfortunately.Comment

They are not related. It only physically has 4 pipelines, you can't magically create 4 more with a hack.
Like Sov said, they even use a different manufacturing process, and are not the same core.Comment
