  • Make of Ti4200?

I need some advice on what brand of Ti4200 is better for overclocking and has a good HSF on it.

Im putting it into a 4xAGP board, but most likely the board will be upgraded to nForce2, still i dont know whether that wll happen, or when.

    Thx in advance!

I've seen a lot of people with the MSI cards hitting 330mhz core which is awesome for a 4200. That's probably your best bet.

Don't worry about 4x/8x. There's virtually no difference. Less than 1%.

Thx for help, didnt find any MSIs

I did, however, find a Gainward Golden Sample 64ddr VIVO.

Im quite happy with getting it, as its only $120NZD aka $50USD.
It has been overclocked to Ti4600 level, and had no problems at all.

Thanks for help, cant wait till i get the card

Good find, "golden sample" cards use the fastest components and are usually the better overclockers.

Yup, and i have proof to it.

My MX440 is a Golden Sample, and it goes nuts.
It is the fastest budget card i have ever seen, and i o/ced it to 340/490 with no problems whatsoever (i didnt want to go higher, i DO see a limit to things unlike some people that end up scraping burned components off their cases  )

Thanks for help! : party ha
