A group of Swedish researchers at KTH and Uppsala university outside of Stockholm has found a certain mix of zinkoxid and mangan which makes the "spinning transistor" possible.
Researchers over the whole world has tryed to manage this for years but as many people know it's only been possible in test labs under extreme cooling. -101 grader Celsius has up until now been the highest temperature for this process to work. However with this new mixture the process has reported successful at room temperature. This is the first time one has managed to create a semi conductor with magnetic characteristics at normal room temperature.
Transistors is the base in all modern electronics as computer chips etc. This new invent makes it possible to reduce the computer chips at least 50% of their size, but even as mutch as 1/10 of their size is possible. Their speed can also be greatly improved, up to 10 times faster.
This new technique is belived to be cheap enough to interest our chip manufactures in about 3-4 years. /tweaker
