Actually PSX is a hybrid of PlayStation 2 gaming console, HDD, DVD recorder, TV tuner, digital photo album and media player. New models are based on already familiar Emotion Engine as CPU, Graphic Synthesizer as GPU and improved OS PS2. So now besides complete PS2 support, the new device is capable of HDD storage, ATRAC3/MP3 playback, DVD recording, etc.
