There seem to be a few: i686-pc-linux-gnu: (ftp://alien.ssl.berkeley.edu/pub/setiathome-3.08.i686-pc-linux-gnu.tar)
x86_64-pc-linux-gnu: (ftp://alien.ssl.berkeley.edu/pub/setiathome-3.08.x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.tar)
alpha-unknown-linux-gnu: (ftp://alien.ssl.berkeley.edu/pub/setiathome-3.03.alpha-unknown-linux-gnu.tar)
powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu: (ftp://alien.ssl.berkeley.edu/pub/setiathome-3.03.powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu.tar)
ppc64-ibm-linux2.4: (ftp://alien.ssl.berkeley.edu/pub/setiathome-3.03.ppc64-ibm-linux2.4.tar)
sparc-unknown-linux-gnu: (ftp://alien.ssl.berkeley.edu/pub/setiathome-3.03.sparc-unknown-linux-gnu.tar)

Some obviously are not what you're after. The first one looks like your best bet. The [email protected] page provides www.linux.org (http://www.linux.org/) as a reference.

Good luck!

i have no experience with SETI but i am trying anyways.
first of all download the file ftp://alien.ssl.berkeley.edu/pub/setiathome-3.08.i686-pc-linux-gnu.tar

have a look at Unix README (http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/README.unix.txt) on [email protected] site.

D/L a few add-on if you like from here (http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/links_addons.html)

Read this comprehensive guide (http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,217023;root=seti;mode=flat) but remember to change the file names used cos the guide was written in year 2000.
