Delayed write failed - a comment on XP tweak guide #1

A warning for anyone attempting to use one of the tweaks suggested in 'Tweaking Windows XP - Part 1'.

The tweak in question concerns toggling the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager\Memory Management\LargeSystemCache

When I attempted this a "Windows - Delayed write failed" error occured. And many happy and joyfull moments were spent on system recovery! The favorite past-time for a newbie tweaker like myself!

I agree that this tweak is dangerous. I tried it two times and had to restore the system. I have 1GB of DDR, I think that should be enough for this tweak.
