Hello,
I was tweaking with the refresh rate when by chance I discovered something interesting. By selecting the refresh rate at 60Hz, the game Sacrifice played smoother than I have ever seen running at a constant 60FPS (1600x1200). The wierd thing is that when my refresh rate is @ 85Hz, Sacrifice then runs at around 65-85FPS, but clicks (lags) like crazy. It sounds like the refresh rate and FPS are then not in-sync, and thus makes for "clickyness."
I wouldn't even care about why this is such, except for this is only true when playing Sacrifice. I have tried a couple other games, but turning the refresh rate to 60Hz does not give this effect. I would give just about anything to find out why this may be, so that I can do this for any game.
BTW, my V-SYNC is disabled.
Thanks!
